Today I’m here with Dr. Tolulope Filani and what went into building the sculptures in the Smith Hammond Middleton Legacy Plaza. The sculptures are of three young men who were killed during the Orangeburg massacre, which was a shooting of student protesters that took place on February 8, 1968, on SC States campus.
